what is the "forward points"?
glossary FAQ: glossary.
Elsa N. From United States

The number of basis points added to or subtracted from the current spot rate to determine the forward rate. When points are added to the spot rate, there is a forward points premium; when points are subtracted from the spot rate, there is a points discount.
The number of forward points on a given exchange rate will be determined by the prevailing interest rates in each market, the time period between the spot and forward rate, and other market factors. For example, if the current spot rate of the USD/EUR is 0.7232 and the two-year forward rate is 0.7332, the number of forward points is 100 basis points (0.7332-0.7232). Visit etorousa.com

- GCI was established as a large scale retail foreign currency exchange firm. GCI is regulated by BVI.
- Specs:
- GCI is, but it's also most quick. GCI makes an honest effort to keep you accessible with a customer support line and gadget friendly trading. GCI's graphic presentation is quite pleasant. I even I caught my dog stealing a glance at it a couple of times - and i swear to you, we're not talking about a foreign currency savvy here. No but for real, you must understand what ever it is that's in your account, in order to be able to have any control over your trading transactions, that is.. Though GCI has a minimum deposit that on the high side, (500 dollars - but hey - that's life, right?), If you're just starting out, this one is exactly what you need since it offers an originally fabricated explanatory interface. By the way, no matter if you're a Deutsch, French, Spanish or English speaker (or any other of a wide array of other languages), GCI sports natural and pleasant trading through its multilingual interface.
